Unidentified White/Hispanic Male

The victim was discovered on February 5, 2006 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California
Partial Remains

Vital Statistics

Estimated age: 19-35 years old
Approximate Height and Weight: 5'5-5'6"; 160 lbs.
Clothing: The body was clothed in a black windbreaker with fleece lining, a white T-shirt and black jeans with a 34" waist and 30" length.

Case History
On February 5, 2006, officers responded to a call in the 8600 block of Langdon Avenue, and found a shopping cart that contained the body of a man whose feet, hands and head had been removed. The man was found stuffed in plastic bags.
Coroner investigators preliminarily estimated the man had been dead several days.

There's a YouTube video called "An Inside Look at the LA County Morgue" which discusses and shows this man's remains starting from about 6:30. Of course, it is *GRAPHIC* and I'm hesitant to link it.

i find this case very disturbing.
im guessing this was a gang related crime. I would suggest the people investigating this case should try checking prison records or parole records to identify the victim.

this man was also eviscerated..... and his tattoos removed

Ew yuck. The poor man.

There's one ruleout: Dean Bechtold 1973 Nebraska

The UID has DNA available.

Ugh..just watched the video. Disgusting.

With so little to go on, there's many cases who fit the general description. Jesus Gudino Martinez has a unique identifier - a missing toe - but obviously this UID could not be compared in that regard.

The video is behind an age verification wall, so I will go ahead and link to it:

I'm not sure there's anything they can do to compare Martinez until he has DNA in the system.

Does the video say where the decedent's tattoos might have been located? I haven't watched it and don't want to unless I have to.

Bad oversight on my part there, I should have noticed that. Obviously dentals and prints are not a factor here.

Not that I saw or heard. Honestly I didn't watch much, just skipped to the time noted above and watched a brief section of it. Really nauseating.

You know, it makes sense that they would remove the feet if he could be ID by his missing toe.
