State police arrested a convicted sex offender who allegedly was planning to kidnap a female from Philadelphia and use her in Pittsburgh as a sex slave.
Police arrested Stephen Tex Morgan, 63, of Hazelwood Avenue, in Greenfield, at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the entrance to the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Monroeville. According to the state's Megan's Law Web site, Morgan was convicted in January 1993 of aggravated indecent assault.

Police did not provide any information on the intended victim or how Morgan knew her. According to a police statement, Morgan planned to keep the female bound, blindfolded and drugged. He allegedly planned to train her as a sexual slave for his anticipated prostitution business through a combination of withholding food and water, rapes, and drugs such as heroin and cocaine.
