Carol Carr of Polk County, Georgia was horrified to hear screams coming from her teenage childrens' bedrooms, August 1. Rushing in, she found a drunken man had wandered into the home and appeared to be getting ready for bed.

Despite her pleas to, 'Don't take off your clothes!' and to leave, he didn't. Instead, he began rummaging through the family laundry because he'd accidentally peed himself, all the while seeming astounded to find a lot of strangers in 'his' home. He even pushed Carr up against a wall, police-style, when she tried to pull him out of her son's bedroom.

When Polk County Sheriff's officers arrived they had to pull a taser on him to get in out. At which point, when he turned around, they discovered it was Polk County deputy of 20 years Noel Smith.

“Yes, he actually told our officers, as they were escorting him out, not to let those people go into his bedroom while he was gone,” says Chief Newsome.

Smith has resigned and now faces charges of public intoxication, trespass and battery. His own home is actually a block away from the Carr home.

Now he will be known around town as Noel "Goldilocks" Smith. Wonder if he got any porridge?
