Queens mom charged with murder of 3-week-old son she threw out 4th-floor window told cops an 'evil spirit' had taken over baby's body
The manical mom charged with throwing her 3-week-old-son to his death from a fourth-floor Queens window told cops that an evil spirit had taken over her baby’s body, prosecutors said Saturday.
Rashida Chowdhury’s disturbing admission was revealed as she was arraigned Saturday night on murder charges at Queens Criminal Court.
Prosecutors said Chowdhury, 21, confessed to throwing tiny Rizwan Ahmad out the window of her Richmond Hill Apartment in a crazed bid to save him from an evil spirit.

The poor father
A neighbor said she later encountered the baby’s father, also named Rizwan Ahmad, in the courtyard.
“He was crying a lot,” said Eleni Anastasopoulos, 34. “He kept saying, 'My first child, my first child.'"
