Hartford Police Search for Missing 23-Year-Old Woman

Hartford police are looking for a missing 23-year-old woman from the capital city.
Tashauna Jackson, 23, of Hartford, was last seen getting into a man's car voluntarily on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at about 11 p.m., police said. She was reported missing the next day.

Police said they have since located the man she was reportedly with and his vehicle. They seized the car and detectives are interviewing him.

Jackson still hasn't been located as of 5 p.m. on Friday. Police said she doesn't have a history of going missing.

Community, police to search for missing Hartford mother Tuesday

Police said the body of a female was found on Granby Street in Bloomfield.

The scene was not far from Keney Park in Hartford, where friends and family had been searching for Tashauna Jackson. Jackson was reported missing last week.

Oh, it's so sad that her poor 5 year old son will never see his mother again. Just heartbreaking.

Hopefully they will find some evidence to solve this case.

Police have since located the man with whom Jackson was last seen, as well as his car. The car was seized and police say theyve interviewed the man several times.

It's devastating that the circumstances in this case are so familiar I have to pray each time that I'll be proved wrong. This is just toxic masculinity, plain and simple. Violent, imbalanced control freaks who need to assert their "power." All for the low, low, price of orphaning children, among other things. Thoughts are with all affected by this, once again.

Very tragic ending... I grew up near there....ugh! That fox link / article says police are also questioning the people who found her body and why they knew to look there, that's odd to me. Hope there is justice.

HARTFORD The cause of Tashauna Jackson's death remained unclear Friday as the state medical examiner's office said that a determination would require further investigation.

Jackson's body was found Tuesday behind a poultry store on Granby Street in Bloomfield, nearly a week after she was last seen in Hartford, police said.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said that Jackson's autopsy results could take another six to eight weeks.

RIP Tashauna.

Wanted 3 million dollar bond, got 2 million dollar bond! Also charged in 1986 murder of a young girl, but not convicted. Should have been previously locked up and Tashuana may be still alive. At least off the street now. RIP.

A judge on Wednesday found that the state has enough evidence to proceed with its murder case against Robert Lee Graham, the 59-year-old Hartford man charged with the August killing of Tashauna Jackson....

Dr. Angela McGuire, a state medical examiner, said there were no obvious signs of trauma or injury to Jackson's body, but she ruled that her death was due to "homicidal violence." She said she ruled out drug use and natural causes. The condition the body was found in, secreted beneath bushes in a remote location and nude except for a bra that was pushed up to expose her breasts, also contributed to her finding, she testified.

State prosecutors and lawyers for Robert Lee Graham began picking a jury Monday for Graham’s murder trial, which is scheduled to begin in January.

The 61-year-old Hartford man faces a single count of murder in the death of Tashauna Jackson, 23. She was last seen the evening of Aug. 11, 2015, when she left her mother’s Barbour Street home with Graham.

In 'A Victory For Every Female He Tried To Hurt,' Hartford Jury Convicts Robert Graham Of Murder

A Hartford Superior Court jury on Wednesday convicted Robert Graham of murder in the 2015 killing of Tashauna Jackson.

Graham is scheduled to be sentenced March 29 by Hartford Superior Court Judge David P. Gold. He faces up to 60 years in prison.
