NC - Michael Kirkpatrick, 29, Fayetteville, 19 July 2015
MISSING FAYETTEVILLE ARMY VETERAN'S CAR FOUND NEAR ASHEVILLE
A missing Fayetteville veteran's car has been found north of Asheville, but there was no sign of the 29-year-old.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said deputies in Madison County found Michael Kirkpatrick's 2006 Scion Tuesday. The area is in the Pisgah National Forest.
Kirkpatrick was last seen on July 19, and was reported missing by his roommate. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

"Loved ones describe him as suffering from PTSD."
Please be okay Michael.

Team searches Uwharrie National Forest for missing veteran
A team called National Veteran Search and Rescue has been in Uwharrie National Forest since Thursday looking for a missing veteran from Fayetteville.
Michael Kirkpatrick, 29, was last seen July 19, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said.
Searchers said they've received reports of Kirkpatrick's vehicle being spotted, but law enforcement said they haven't received those reports.
Kirkpatrick works in Lumberton and is also known to frequently go camping in the Uwharrie National Forest. The Uwharrie, about 70 miles from Fayetteville, is spread across 50,000 acres in parts of Montgomery, Davidson and Randolph counties and includes the Uwharrie, Yadkin and Pee Dee rivers in addition to the Uwharrie Mountains.

He was last seen July 19 and reported missing by his roommate? Wonder when the roommate reported him missing? I hate hearing about these cases where our Military are diagnosed with PTSD. Jmo#prayfororlando

I was hoping to find an MSM source and found this instead.
I think the site is basing that headline on the FB comment shown in the video below.

Certainly is good news, and I'm hoping it is truly Michael posting on social media. His mother's FB is easily found and I don't see any news in the public posts on it either.
