On August 6, 2012, mother of two Tamala Wells drove away from her home in Detroit. She has not been seen or heard from since she made her last phone call at 11:45 pm. Her car was recovered three days later, 20 minutes away from her home. Friends and family members are baffled.

Consider featuring a missing person in your signature - a simple act that could get the right pair of eyes on the case.

As well, investigators learned the victim had broken two vertebrae at least six months – though possibly years – before her death, maybe from having fallen on to her bottom or back. As a result, she would have received non-surgical care and may have worn a brace for some time.

Residents reported that the wooded area, which is cut through by a path that backs on to a Travelodge motel, was known as a site of drug activity and a place where homeless people camped out.
It sounds as though her back injury was quite painful and I wonder if a drug addiction of some sort formulated as a result. Just a thought.

Pardon my primitive map skills. The red shows the walking path were Sara's body was found concealed under bushes. This is a short path near many residential homes. Since, to the best of our knowledge, no one who lived nearby heard any screams or other indications of violence, I find myself thinking that Sara died elsewhere and was dumped here.
