Websleuths Post of the Day!!!/Zuri is our winnerWEBSLEUTHS POST OF THE DAY FOR THURSDAY AUGUST 20TH STILL TAKING NOMINATIONS ON THIS THREAD
Before I tell you about other great nominations that are being moved to today's Post of the Day's thread let me revisit a time when Mom's and their kids talk to the phone and the phone actually answers back.
That time would be yesterday and our winner of the post of the day yesterday is Mikkismom. Seems Mikkismom's kids have managed to short out Apple's Suri with their questions. You will love this post.
Now, we have some great posts already nominated for today. Just scroll.

Really, right? Lonna's standing by Ebron, Chris is standing by Lonna, Ebron's parents are standing by both of them...
Who the hell is standing by Lonzie? Apparently only Chief Hackney and JSO and the people of Jacksonville. Disgusting.

Spreading the Word
I spotted this gem today and wanted to share one line from it - especially to Tricia.
* Just a reminder that tonight on Tricia's radio podcast, Elaine Redwine will be a guest, briefly, at the beginning of the hour.

Many posts in the Susan McLean thread are nomination worthy, but I chose this one in particular. This year, we've seen a couple of BFF's be instrumental in resolving cold missing cases, Tammy Alexander and Fletcher Currin, for example. But Susan has a friend that refused to let her case go cold. She crossed oceans, joined our forum, and led the voluntary search that found Susan's body.
Zuri expresses beautifully the thoughts of many of us here.

Keep them coming. I'll be picking a winner soon. Like Yesterday. Yesterday when I should have picked a winner but I didn't. Why? I just don't know what to say.
Somehow I'm sure I can blame this on my ex-husband. Just give me a while and I will make it all his fault as to why I didn't pick a winner yesterday. While I work on that excuse please nominate away.

The day I ask these two for marriage advice will be the same day I ask Michael Vick to dog sit for me.

This one made my day; we are discussing a missing Florida child (I know, another one! dang it!) Highly emotional discussions, especially because mommy dearest (a stripper) was arrested a couple of days ago for child neglect and recently bonded out. Her bf remains a POI and in jail.
Go to Post 485

We have some great nominations on this thread. In fact I am going to bring them over to the next "Post of the Day" thread because they are so good they need to be nominated twice.
The winner this time is a very worthy post.
I would encourage everyone to read the sad story of American tourist Susan McLean . Susa was visiting the Moness Resort in Aberfeldy, Scotland when she went missing. Her story has a tragic end but also uplifting as well.
As Zuri's posts states "One of the takeaways from this tragedy for me is the bond of friendship we form over our lifetime with an extraordinary person who we refer to as our BFF. Lumberjill and Susan obviously had that unbreakable bond, stronger than blood or family ties/relationships. It was a sisterhood that withstood the test of time and geographical limitations. To me, It was the bond of a love so strong that Lumberjill would go to the depths of the Universe to find Susan and bring her home."
This is just part of a wonderful post. Please CLICK HERE to read the whole story. It is very moving
Our much-loved member Zuri wins the Websleuths Post of the Day.
If you have more nominations check out our latest Post of the Day thread!
