Zachary Elshaarawy, a five-year old whose disappearance in Burleson, Texas was reported within 15 minutes, died Sunday after being found in a hot car.
The search for Zachary, who had autism, began just a quarter of an hour after his grandmother noticed he'd disappeared but the temperature was hitting 100 degrees at the time. He was found in a rear seat of an unlocked vehicle parked outside the home and despite CPR and treatment in the hospital,he could not be saved.
His distraught father Darek, who was in the backyard building a swing for Zachary when he went missing, said Zachary was his only child and was looking forward to his first day at school, Monday.
