"A police strike force has been set up five months after the suspicious disappearance of a family-loving builder, who vanished half-way through installing a kitchen.

Christopher Daunt, 27, also known as Doonie, was last seen by a friend at his home on O'Brien Street, Gateshead, Lake Macquarie on Sunday, March 29.

He has not been seen since or made any contact with family or friends, and his disappearance is out of character.

Police have serious concerns for his welfare, with the disappearance considered to be 'suspicious' and his family have become increasingly worried as the months roll on."

Was his car at the work site or found at home?

I cant find anything on MSM about where the car was found. Are we allowed to quote the Find Chris Daunt FB page? There is a post there giving an address, and asking if anyone knows of any friends/contacts he may have had in the area.

Still missing, according to the FB page linked upthread.

Living at the North Lambton home at the time Mr Daunt went missing on April 29 last year was Christopher John Robertson – a bloke he had known for five years, and had called a mate.

About 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon, Strike Force Retractor detectives launched themselves at Mr Robertson’s new rental home on Elaine Avenue, Rankin Park... Within hours, he would be charged with Mr Daunt’s murder.

And within hours of the charges being laid, police were led to Mr Daunt’s remains dumped within a few metres of George Booth Drive at Seahampton.

ID not yet confirmed.

Chris Daunt's killer Christopher Robertson jailed for maximum of five years and 10 months for manslaughter

Chris Daunt was last seen in March, 2015. His body was found at Seahampton in June, 2016, and his mate Christopher Robertson was charged with his murder.
