Odessa Police Searching for Missing Person
"Odessa Police are asking for help in finding a woman reported missing and last seen on August 11.

Police are looking for 25-year-old Jakayla Salazar.
They haven't said when or where she was last seen.

Her family told police they haven't seen or heard from her in several weeks."

A dental examination from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirmed that the person was 25-year-old Jakayla Gabrielle Salazar, who was last seen on Aug. 19, 2015.
[...]
OPD spokesman Cpl. Steve LeSueur said there was little he could say about Salazar’s disappearance since it is an active case that is now being investigated by the sheriff’s office.
Salazar’s case will be treated as a homicide as a matter of procedure until it can be proven to be otherwise, Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office Chief Investigator Chuck Moad said.
Passersby found Salazar’s remains that included a skull, ribs and other bones in South Ector County last Thursday.
