"He is described by police as a tanned white man, between the ages of 65 and 75, who appeared to be an avid runner. He was wearing a pair of red Nike running shorts, white New Balance running shoes and a white visor hat with a "Jasper Park Lodge" logo embroidered on it.

Witnesses told police the man was regularly seen running in the parkway area.

Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 2666."

There's a Jasper Park Lodge in Alberta. Not much help, I know.

This poor fella. I hope someone comes forward to ID him. You're right, bluesneakers, a pic or sketch would help. They just might have to release one before too long if nobody claims him.

I have a friend in Ottawa who runs daily. I'm almost afraid to ask.

Police say runners should bring I.D. with them.
