Still no sign of nicholas I've been following this case for months and still nothing. I feel so bad for his family, Thompson is not a very big place at all someone knows something! Does anyone have any more details on this case like what kind of people he hung out with, if there was any kind of conflict with anyone in the community or friends?

The family of Nicholas Brophy, 19, who went missing Sept. 8 in Thompson, Man., is hoping a fifty thousand dollar reward will help bring him home...

Ashleigh says he was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, but had no mental disorders otherwise. He never spoke of suicide and hadn't run away before.

"He didn't have enemies, he was nice to everybody, everybody loved him, it honestly doesn't make sense for this to happen to him," she said, adding her brother also wasn't into drugs or crime.

Guilty plea leads to second-degree murder conviction in killing of Nicholas Brophy

One of three men accused of killing 18-year-old Nicholas Brophy in Thompson following a robbery in September 2015 is going to prison for at least 10 years after pleading guilty to second-degree murder Dec. 11.

Justin Noah Baker, who was 19 at the times of Brophy’s killing, apologized to Brophy’s family members in the courtroom prior to being sentenced to life in prison with no eligibility for parole for the first 10 years.

The second day of the first-degree murder trail of Mark Bradley Thomas, 22, and Zach Edwin Linklater, 24, began with an agreed-upon statement of facts from Emily Holland, a forensic anthropologist who examined the area near Thompson, Man., where Brophy's body was found.

On the first day of the trial before a judge and jury, Crown prosecutors said they intend to prove Brophy, 18, was on his way home in Thompson when he was jumped, kidnapped, taken to the woods and murdered as part of a gang initiation.
