Websleuths Post of the Day!!!/Creeping Skills WinsNOMINATE YOUR FAVORITE WEBSLEUTHS POST RIGHT HERE!
BUT...before we start the intense and dramatic nomination process for the next Websleuths Post of the Day let's turn back time and read the Post of the Day for the weekend of September 18th - 20th
I had to be over in Roanoke yesterday. I live 2 hours away. When I made a stop, I saw tour brochures for Pulaski. Noah was immediately on my mind.
I have lived all over the country and traveled all over the world. It may be hard for a lot of people to imagine the area Noah lived. I know we have some posters here lucky enough to live in that area. But I am here to tell you that it is beautiful. Serene, bucolic, rolling hills, blue skies. In his short life, he must have seen the mountains change from green to blue to brilliant oranges and reds as they will be any day now.
And while he should have lived to see that wonder 80 or 90 more times, I felt some solace in the fact that he lived somewhere pretty. I keep thinking of some of the other children we have read about and discussed here on WS who lived their entire short lives without every seeing anything pretty. He may have died in the ugliest, dirtiest, lowest of places, but he didseebeaut in his lifetime.
Now...when are we going to get down to it and hear something!?????http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?287663-VA-Noah-Terry-Thomas-5-Pulaski-County-22-Mar-2015-7-*Parents-Arrested*&p=12067759#post12067759

I want to nominate this comment.

Administrators posting for Verified Sources **Reference Only**
In every case the Websleuths rules are grey. Rarely are the rules black and white.
In my experience as owner since 2004 I have never seen anything like what is going on in the Sievers case.
We have many legitimate insiders contacting us with information, but they won't become verified and post because they are afraid of the people involved. They worry their family's safety could be compromised if they are discovered posting. Some of these people are not registered on Websleuths. This is all through phone and email.
These people want to help. They want to do something but they feel helpless because of the safety issue.
Therefore, we are taking the unusual step of verifying the authenticity of their insider status as we do with every verified insider, the only difference being myself or administrator will be posting for them on the forum.
We will be very cautious not to post information that could somehow compromise their identity.
We will identify these people by number. VI 1, VI 2, VI, 3 and so on.
This will be a Reference Only thread and remain locked as it will not be open for questions or discussion.
I have verified VI 1.
VI 1 - This person has told me Jimmy Rodgers and Curtis Wayne Wright met in county jail while awaiting their criminal trials. It was either St. Francis county jail or St. Genevieve county jail.
Anyone wishing to be verified or if you have any questions please write email@example.com

I'd love for you to be right Hope4More, but history tells me otherwise. I hope you prove me wrong one day.
Any chance for real justice ended the day that jury declined to do their duty. Nothing can or ever will change that reality.
I firmly believe, though, that she's never going to escape the condemnation of the millions who followed this case, mourned Caylee and who despised FCA as a sociopathic child-killer.
Had the strength of that collective fury and revulsion been any less, or had it been felt but not acted upon, FCA would be rich right now. She's not. And she's not going to get rich, at least not by speaking or writing about her crimes. Even these years later, any mention of that possibility provokes enough outrage to deter profiteers.
Is preventing her from getting rich justice enough? No. But it's a start, as is the response she gets every time she floats a trial balloon to see how welcome she is in public. Public's reply: she's not welcome. She's hated. She will always be hated.
Does the fact of that hatred keep her up at night? No. I'm sure it doesn't. But I do believe it limits her in more ways than we know about. And that's something, if still not very much.
What I've always believed and said, though, is that she will be the instrument of her own downfall. Her minders have saved her from herself for years longer than I ever imagined, but I've always believed those minders know what she did to Caylee.
They've protected her as they would any investment, but there's ample proof now that their investment isn't going to pay off. Somehow I don't imagine loyalty is a strong suit of any of her minders.
She is or will be on her own, with a even greater sense of entitlement than she had while living at home. She's seen how wealthier folks live, she'll be demanding that way of life for herself, and she's no more willing or able to work for it than she was as a teenager.
I just don't see that's going to end well for her. I'm certainly praying that if I'm wrong about all this, that at the very least she is incapable for whatever reason of ever having another child.
