A court in Kiel, northern Germany, is considering bringing over half a million murder charges against a 91-year-old woman who worked as a radio operator at Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland for four months, during WW2. She was a member of an all-female unit there and if charges are laid will be prosecuted as a minor as she was under 21 at the time.
Her name has not been released but chief prosecutor Heinz Dollel told media the court will carefully consider if charges should be brought.
