I hope he's just playing down the beach with other kids and lost track of time. I'm about 10 miles from there.

Search will continue throughout the night for a missing nine-year-old boy

    http://www.abcactionnews.com/news/re...9-year-old-boy

"Throughtout the night, they will search by land and air, using a search and rescue chopper, but also ATVs and four-wheel drive vehicles. However, the coast guard has one boat still searching the water. (...) full dive teams and additional marine units are expected to return around 7:00am Sunday."

I grew up going to that beach and fear I know the family as I went to school with several Bullard family members. Any updates you hear of please please post them.

I wish it was clear whether or not he was in the water.

Search resumes this morning for missing 9-year-old boy on St. Pete Beach

Deputies say they do not know if he is still on the beach or if he left the beach. The family said they were on the beach, turned their head for a moment and he was gone. The family is very distraught.

I agree. The water was very choppy and I'm sure there where currants but it's also a possibility he was abducted and I don't know if they're looking at that possibility.
