Chicago's mega-rich property tycoon Ken Griffin is embroiled in divorce proceedings with his wife of 11 years, Anne Dias-Griffin. Ken, who is reputed to earn $3 million a day, set up a pre-nup with Anne providing her with $1 million a year for each year of marriage plus a lump sum of $25 million. He says he's already paid her $40 million, more than agreed under the settlement.
Anne says the pre-nup was signed under duress though and wants $1 million a month in order to maintain the lifestyle their two children have come to expect. The divorce proceedings have been delayed until today (Wednesday) as the couple try to agree an out-of-court settlement.
