Scars and marks
Old 20cm scar on medial aspect of the right upper thigh; old 15 cm scar on the anterior aspect of the right forearm; old 5cm scar on the dorsal aspect of the right forearm and another one on the dorsal aspect at the base of the thumb and 3cm long and linear old scars on the dorsal aspect of each finger of the right hand on metatarsal phalangeal joint

It lists his age as 25-50, but I would guess he's under 40.

I sent a possible match for this set of remains, asking it to be compared to Kenneth Gautier, who was added to NamUS last year

I don't see any rule outs for this John Doe. If this gentleman, Steven Davis, has already been suggested, please let me know.
Namus has his height as 6' 4" to 6' 6" and Charley has him listed as 6' 2" and both at 170 lbs, Brown hair, Hazel eyes, missing from San Francisco in 1986. Little information for him, just walked away from work and disappeared.

Davis looks like a good one. His head looks a bit wider than the UID, but I wouldn't rule him out based on that. Also, the UID's nose seems slightly asymmetric, but four years is more than enough to acquire a broken nose. Finally, the UID has stronger eyebrows than Davis.

Davis has fingerprints (naughty boy) available and the UID's report says "Fingerprint information is available elsewhere", so I'm guessing they have his prints on card and hence a manual comparison would be necessary, so you might want to ask them to start there.

Good one! Look at the left ears! UID's may be kind of chewed up from the accident, but I think those are distinctive and similar earlobes nonetheless.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear there have been any updates as both profiles are still active. The UID doesn't have any exclusions listed so it's unclear whether they've ever been compared. I wonder if a followup call would provide updated info on these cases?

When I was in Ocala last summer I drove by the area where he was found. If I recall correctly, mobile homes were on either side of a somewhat busy highway. Seemed like it could be highly possible he was not originally from Florida.

I'm just wondering about the multiple layers of clothes on him. So he died on November? I wonder how warm it is during that month in Miami.

Multiple sweat shirts..his forensic art shows him with what appears to be two shirts on top of each other. Judging by that, he could either be a transient or was low on clothes for cold weather.

Also, IMHO he looks 30 at most.

I would say transient is highly likely. I have family in Ocala and visit there often. His scar descriptions on his hand make me think of my dad's sawmill injury, but Ocala is known as the horse capital of the world. I don't know anything about injuries working in that field. There is also a prison work farm in Ocala. I'll have to do some research to see if that would have been around in 90.

Who is this? I agree there are some similarities that i can't ignore like the teeth and eye brows, especially. Perhaps someone should check records to make certain there wasn't an entry error on either of their heights. MOO
