This is really her only source of income. She rents out the Pennsylvania studio but I bet that just about covers the taxes and maintenance. So I wonder what's up?

It could be just her typical borderline personality disorder outburst. It could be she is trying to negotiate a better deal (because let's face it, without the drama this woman brings, the show won't exist so they have an incentive to keep her on). It could be she knows she is going away for awhile.
For Elizabeth, a minor child, a victim. Thank God she is home!

"I think that's great," Abby Lee Miller said of Cheryl Burke getting the gig. "I only met her once at a housewarming party a couple weeks ago. I'm glad that someone who has worked on a network show for as long as she has on Dancing With the Stars is going to see what I've been working with for seven years."

"Wait until Cheryl Burke deals with [no costume budget]. At Dancing With the Stars, they have two floors — an entire building of seamstresses sewing, rhinestoning, fringe — she's going to have to run downtown to Santee Alley and buy something off the street in her own car, at 4:30 in rush hour traffic after we wrap, when everything is closing, because that's what I did for six years."

Miller said that she foresees “a different vibe” when Burke joins the fold. She believes that the ballroom champ will receive better treatment and an increased budget.

"I bet you she's treated differently. I bet you the budget is completely different, and I bet you she is never driving her car, with her gas, getting parking tickets that she has to pay, walking up and down the streets looking for fabric on her feet."

Abby is ready to slim down after quitting the Lifetime show, claiming that while filming producers wanted her overweight.

Miller recently underwent gastric sleeve surgery, a procedure that removes 80 percent of the stomach. She's still said to be recovering.

Abby Lee Miller has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison for bankruptcy fraud and for taking $120,000 worth of Australian currency into the country without reporting it.

A federal judge in Pittsburgh also ordered Miller to pay a $40,000 fine and spend two years on probation following her release.

Miller pleaded guilty in both cases last year.

Well, she is in prison now, for a year and a day and I am intrigued to know if the papers can manage a news item every day for a year and a day. Shock, horror. She has been caught with an APPLE in her cell and so had to break rocks for a day.

I do kind of feel this is someone who has managed to build a wall of isolation round themselves and is totally lost as to how to break those walls down to survive. In the bigger scale of things she has not kidnapped or murdered anyone.

It just amazes me the crimes some people go to prison for and the crimes some people walk free from.
