Identified! UT - Washington Co., Human remains in wreck, Oct'15 - Kennard Dixon

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah — A man who was moving cattle in a remote area of Utah near Enterprise Friday found an unattended vehicle that had suffered damage along with human remains, and authorities have tentatively connected the remains to a missing person’s case out of Las Vegas.[/B]

Around 1:50 p.m. Friday, sheriff's dispatch received a report from a citizen who was herding cattle roughly nine miles southwest of Enterprise Reservoir in Washington County, according to Washington County Sheriff's Office. According to the report, while moving cattle the citizen came upon human remains.

Upon responding to the scene, officers found the remains located in the vicinity of a vehicle with out-of-state license plates, police said.

UPDATE: Washington County Sheriff’s Office identified the body as 40-year-old Kennard Murray Dixon of Cedar City, Utah.

Family members reported Dixon missing after last seeing him over three weeks ago in the Las Vegas area.
