FL - Raymond "Scott" Rupp, 48, Palm Harbor, 15 June 2012

Raymond "Scott" Rupp, 48, was last seen alive June 15, 2012.

Detectives say he lived with a roommate, Robert "Bobby" Worden, 37, at the Harbor Club Downs Apartments on U.S. Alternate 19 in Palm Harbor.

After Rupp disappeared, Worden moved to Arkansas in the Van Buren/Ft. Smith area until August 2015. Worden was extradited back to Florida recently for grand theft and forged checks that belonged to Rupp and is being held at the Pinellas County Jail.

The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office wants anyone who knows Worden to come forward. Detectives also want help in identifying an associate of Worden's who lived in Arkansas, who may also have information about the case. He's described as a tall white male, missing some teeth, with an eagle tattoo on his shoulder. The eagle's wings are made of the United States flag.

The two were together at "Ken's Stop-and-Shop" in Van Buren Arkansas.

Rupp has both a Charley Project and NamUs page
    Charley Project: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/r/rupp_raymond.html
    NamUs: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/20505/1/

NamUs states that Raymond is legally both deaf and blind

Sounds like he a predator was in his own house. I wonder if he was acting as a carer... poor man.

Worden's picture scares me to death. How did he get set up to rip-off a legally blind and deaf man? I suppose it slipped by social services. I wonder how long Worden cashed Mr. Rupp's checks after he 'disappeared?' What a preventable tragedy, IMO.

The more tragic part for me is the fact that Raymond's dog died of starvation/thirst and was left to decompose in the apartment (the police came because of foul odors). I think Worden killed him then abandoned the apartment, as he clearly didn't care about the dog. Still, I think someone should have noticed barking or something and maybe the police would have been called sooner.

It just breaks my heart that the dog had to suffer as a direct result of Raymond's disappearance.
