'Modern-day Bonnie and Clyde' hitting banks along the East Coast
Joseph and Jennifer Carrier, both 37, are being hunted by cops who suspect them of committing bank robberies in Massachusetts, Florida and Maryland during the last several weeks. Ludlow, Mass. police told the Boston Herald that the two are heroin users.

The husband and wife, from Quincy, Massachusetts, are believed to be traveling in a stolen, dark-colored Buick Encore with a partial Massachusetts tag ‘265S’.

Hope these perps are apprehended soon before anyone is seriously hurt !

A bit odd, but apparently they're believed to be travelling with seven high-maintenance dogs. I hope the dogs come out of this unscathed!

But cops hope the duo’s traveling kennel will be their undoing. The seven Brussells Griffon toy dogs they’re suspected of traveling with require a great deal of care.

“We believe this will increase their visibility, as they may need to make frequent stops to let the dogs out,” Reiber said.

Not very bright... these two. Somewhat difficult to embark on a crime spree where you have to keep stopping to let the dogs use the roadside 'conveniences'.
Hopefully they're captured before anyone is harmed, incl. the dogs !

Not sure about the wife, Jennifer -- but the photo of Joseph looks very little like the surveillance cam. pic. Very gaunt , and apparently not spending any of his ill-gotten gains on food.

Heist suspects with 7 dogs
believed Bay State-bound

The Quincy couple that cops are calling a junkie “Bonnie and Clyde” — wanted for bank robberies up and down the East Coast — might already be back in Massachusetts, driving a stolen car with their seven Brussels Griffon dogs in the back, a Ludlow police official said.

“It’s the direction of the bank robberies that leads us to believe they’re back in the area,” Ludlow police Det. Sgt. Louis Tulik said yesterday, noting the couple last robbed a bank in Maryland on Oct. 16 after hitting a Florida bank.

All seven of the couple's Brussells Griffon toy dogs were in the getaway car when the Carriers were apprehended, an FBI spokesperson told Fox News. Six of the dogs were taken into custody by the SPCA, their fate now in the hands of the federal court system. The seventh dog, however, escaped as the Carriers were being arrested and remains on the run.
