"Lethbridge police are making a plea for four missing persons to contact them.

“To the missing: Julie, Anna, Kym and Theodore, if you are reading this news release, hearing your names on the news or seeing your pictures on social media sites, please contact us,” police say in a press release.

“We understand you may have walked away from your lives and it is not our intention to disrupt them.

“We only want to confirm that you are OK.”

While missing for decades, police are hoping the age of social media may help close the following cold cases."

Case No. 3: Theodore Murray Milde

Milde was reported missing Feb. 18, 1993, after a friend found a note and Milde’s keys in his mailbox. In the note, Milde said his vehicle could be found on 28 Street North, just outside the city limits, where police promptly located it. Footprints in the snow led to the coulees, causing police to search the area for weeks, only to come back with nothing. Police said evidence points to a suicide, but investigations have yet to confirm that, since Milde’s body has still not been found."

Officers are equally confounded by the disappearance of Theodore Murray Milde, who has had no contact with friends or family, other than a few mysterious notes, since February 1993.

Inside Milde’s mailbox, a friend found the man’s keys and a note indicating where his vehicle could be found. It also told the friend where to find some of Milde’s belongings, which he wanted his friend to have.

Milde’s vehicle was later found just outside Lethbridge city limits, exactly where the note said it would be. Footprints in the snow led to the coulees, but police found no trace of the missing man, despite extensive searches conducted in the days and weeks that followed.

Bumping for Theodore - it's now been over 28 years.

Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything online after 2018.
