    IA - Moe Sed, 18, Waterloo, 22 Oct 2015

Moe Sed, 18, is described as a 5-foot-tall Asian male, weighing around 150 pounds with black hair to his shoulders -- with the tips dyed red -- and brown eyes.

He was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of West Fourth Street. He was wearing his school uniform of black pants and a blue shirt. He may be riding a bicycle that has a blue rear rim and an orange front rim.

Police say he left without medicine, and he needs it.

He speaks accented English, he's very quiet and shy. He's also never ran away or went missing before.

Just read about this case on the L&L thread and was shocked there weren't any posts or info updating it.

Here's a link with a little more info.

This article with more info has an odd (scary?) comment at the bottom.

This article which was updated yesterday afternoon describes the searching by family, teachers and classmates.

Hoping that the weather has not been too wet and cold and that there is an abandoned structure where Moe could be hiding/taking shelter.
Wondering if any Halloween celebrations, decorations have not somehow unnerved and confused him? imo

You may very well be right about Halloween festivities, but this was the week before.
He had his school clothes on and seen riding his bike at 11:30 in the daytime. One comment was they didn't know why he left.
I assumed school was in session that day, but am not so sure now.
If it was a school holiday (teachers planning?), he may have tried to go anyway.
So, I guess we need to know if he leave from school or from home?
Did he normally ride his bike to and from school?

he spends a lot of time at the Waterloo Public Library, likes music and likes going to the soccer fields.

There will be a prayer vigil on Sunday at 5:00. It will take place at First Baptist Church in Waterloo.

No, not a school holiday, and really unusual for him to be out during that time of day. I believe seniors may leave school if they don't have class, but as a Burmese student, I doubt if that would be the case. And he is a junior, so really unusual.

    Still Missing.

Moe Sed's father and search organizers plan to be back on the street this week; passing out more flyers and hoping to find answers.

Wondering if they have searched the waterway behind Moe in the photo?
Also wonder how well he can see without his glasses, has anyone found glasses anywhere?

It’s going on two weeks now since an 18-year-old Waterloo high school junior left school during fourth period, went home, got on his bicycle — and vanished.
Further in that article it mentioned that he had told a friend he didn't want to be in school.
Also, he had had an insignificant disagreement with his father before leaving.
