"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

She's been posting on her FB regularly:
She had worked 4 days in a row through the day she was reported last seen. A few hours after that she said she was leaving to go to Lawrence.
She said she was in Boston on October 14th
She did seem to have a job but she's not posted about being at work since the 11th (though reading back it didn't seem like she always wrote when she was working anyway)
I know they're calling her an endangered runaway - unusual to have one posting THIS much the entire time so it doesn't seem like she's trying to not have people know she's ok. That said she's 17 so obviously still a minor.
