Two weeks ago, our new friend, who we will simply call Kate, had her bicycle stolen. Kate is a graduate student and the bicycle was her main mode of transportation.
She was even more devastated since she had locked it up all in hopes of preventing it from ever being stolen.
Denver Police District 1 Sergeant Bobby Waidler heard about the report and without hesitation, emailed Kate and offered her his own mountain bike.
Kate was floored by Bobbys compassion and generosity she gladly accepted his gift. If that werent enough, the good sergeant even rode the bike over to Kates house to give it to her.
