Authorities are investigating the discovery of a body of a woman in a laundry basket at a Boardwalk condominium complex when they got a call from security at Atlantic Palace in the 1500 block of Boardwalk around 7 a.m.
The caller originally thought a person was stuck in a laundry chute, police said. Police arrived on the scene to find the woman's body in a laundry basket, they said.
Authorities were awaiting the results of an autopsy planned for Monday.
