83 Couples Get Hitched At Metrodome
Eighty-three couples suited up and said "I do" in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome infield Saturday.
The Minnesota Twins organist played "Here Comes the Bride" as the couples marched out onto the infield to be wed in a "multiple matrimony ceremony."
T.C. the Bear donned a top hat, vest and tie as he led the soon-to-be-newlyweds onto the field. A few couples dressed up, but others showed their support for the hometown team in jerseys and caps.
Rev. Gary Gottfried of the Mall of America's Chapel of Love proceeded over the mass ceremony.
After the event took place, before Johan Santana took the mound and led the Twins to a 5-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
