Wyche suffers from several medical conditions and may be disoriented. Police said she does not have her medication and is considered to be an endangered person in need of immediate medical care.

I hope they find her fast.

She was heading home to District Heights after visiting her sister when she had car trouble. "Saturday evening shortly after 7 p.m., a US Park Police officer approached Mrs. Wyche, who was pulled over to the side of the parkway. Mrs. Wyche indicated that she was out of gas but that she was making her own arrangements and didn't need the assistance of the officer. So he continued on his patrol." The next day, the car was still on the shoulder, but Wyche was gone.

A caller Sunday night reported seeing someone fitting her description walking on the median of the parkway. U.S. Park Police officers on horseback searched the fields and woods near the parkway Thursday. Park Police have searched everyday with helicopter patrols, K9 and support from local jurisdictions.

Her husband is worried because she doesn't have her medication and may be disoriented. She suffered kidney failure two years ago, he said, and since her disappearance, she's missed dialysis twice this week.

Family members confirmed that a body found Saturday near the Baltimore-Washington Parkway was that of a Maryland woman missing since Halloween.
Lisa Renee Wyche, 46, of District Heights, had run out of gas while driving on the parkway. A U.S. Park Police officer stopped to check on her, but she assured the officer that she had made her own arrangements to get gas and did not need help.
