Hoare 'is a survivor who learned how to deal with Matthews'
Shauna Hoare “is a survivor in the end, who learned how best to deal [with Matthews]”.
She was able to “get what she wanted in so far as she could”, the court was told.
However defence lawyer Andrew Langdon added that Hoare was not the victim in this case.

There's also a joke SH has copied onto her Facebook that unnerves me, where she's commented to NM that she has no idea why she finds it so funny but did(find it funny)
The joke is :
Is there a nonsexual way to eat a lollipop?
SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER AND EAT THE REMAINS

Her life and her house is filled literally and metaphorically by Nathan Matthews - filled with his junk - filled with his issues

Funny how, prior to this, everyone thought she was capable enough to raise a child and be the registered carer of someone with MS - but all of a sudden we are supposed to believe she is some tragic product of abuse and control and isn't responsible for any of her actions or thoughts and somehow 'the system' is to blame.
To blame for what, I don't know, as this is the defence who are claiming she is completely innocent of everything!!
