Laying unclaimed at the bottom of Alamo Antiques in downtown were photographic memories of summer days in San Antonio, extravagant high school balls, first baptisms and other precious family moments.
Before checking out, Luis Muñoz sifted through another box of 35mm photos documenting the life of a mysterious, porcelain-skinned young woman. With his purchased items in hand, Muñoz prepared to leave the shop but something kept calling him back to the abandoned collection of photos, he said.
I bought them, not even knowing why, but there were baby photos, wedding photos very big events of someones life, he said. And, I thought it wasnt fair that these pictures were there, someone was probably looking for them.
