According to police, Howard-Bee originally denied causing harm to his son, but later admitted to police that he hit and shook the boy to "get him to stop crying."

He's also accused of jamming his thumb into the baby's eye socket to try to quiet him.

The infant was taken to Hershey Medical Center for treatment. While at the hospital, an examiner found that almost every bone in the baby's body was broken. After almost two months in intensive care, he died

Father facing homicide charge after abusing 6-week-old son 'from very, very early on,' DA says...

Law enforcement did not have previous involvement with Howard-Bee or his residence, and Howard-Bee told police he was the only caretaker during the timeframe his son suffered the fatal injuries, Freed said. Law enforcement, however, are continuing to investigate the infant's death to determine whether any charges are warranted in connection with the mother's role in the child's life.

I don't understand what kind of damage someone has to have to do something so despicable. Everything else I have to say would earn me a PTO. Permanent Time Out

Six-week-old Connor Howard-Bee endured being shaken, dropped, forcefully squeezed and bounced, and had thumbs pressed into his eyes in an effort to stop him from crying, according to testimony at the hearing of his South Middleton Township father Wednesday.

John Tyler Howard-Bee, 22, will face trial on charges including first-degree murder, aggravated assault and child endangerment, District Judge Susan Day decided after an hour-and-a-half hearing in in Mount Holly Springs.
...
There were multiple skull fractures and bruises over the body, 16 rib fractures, and broken femur, tibia, fibula, left humerus, right radius and shoulder blade.

The baby's brain had hemorrhages and had already begun to deteriorate from repeated lack of oxygen, Reid said the doctor's report indicated. The coroner said death was caused by severe traumatic injury and traumatic head trauma, Reid said, with evidence of internal shaking and impact injuries.

Might want to avoid some of the comments in the above link.

How DARE anyone say these injuries are "fabricated" by the hospital and LE ?
And that abuse was just "claims" ?
How the F. can someone say the baby had a pre-existing condition and the injuries could have been due to 'brittle bone disease' ?

Hopefully John Howard-Bee rots in hell for all eternity.
What a worthless monster.

And little Connor's "mother" might need some jail time to think about what she allowed. Even working nights-- she HAD to have heard that tiny baby crying non-stop, due to his injuries.
There is no excuse.
None.

Per the link : "...both parents were 'stoic' when they (emt's) were attempting to revive him..." (paraphrased)
"STOIC" ?? I'd have been crazy with grief. No, maybe not-- because my child wouldn't need to be revived --due to abuse.

Had to rant. Time to look at other cases.
But hopefully this maggot of a "father' spends the rest of his worthless life in prison.
:moo:

I'm struggling to find words to say here. I felt bad about myself because a thought shot through my mind for a moment. A flashing thought was that I wish this "father" could have these things done to him - what he did to this baby. God and the universe, please forgive me for this thought .
I am sickened to read this.
