He has a new reconstruction as of September!

    (From l-r) victim in his 50s, 60s and 70s

North Wales Police hoped the new images would help trigger someone’s memory and lead to the man being identified nearly a year after his skeletal remains were found in Clocaenog Forest, Wales.

Detectives believe he was murdered after being struck on the head at another location and then taken to the woods between 1995 and 2005.

Brothers Andrew and Mark Middle found the body while camping last November.

‘I found some bones on the floor and on closer inspection I realised they were actually human remains,’ Mark said.

Given that this chap was only a few years older than most of Moore's known victims, and the unlikelihood of another killer choosing to bury this body in roughly the same place as another Moore victim and at roughly the same time as Moore was killing, the most obvious explanation is that he is an unknown victim of Moore's.

However Moore has been locked up since 1996, so if it was one of his victims he was either buried earlier than the police estimate or he was buried very shortly before Moore was arrested.

I just wish that I could find decent info about MPs and UIDs outside of the USA -- it's so hard for me to find any info TBH. And that makes searching for possible matches for this guy really hard.

This is the official police website for UIDs in the UK:

    http://missingpersons.police.uk/

Despite its name, it doesn't list people who are actually reported missing.

This the official police-run site for missing children in the UK, including those who went missing as children but who would now be adults:

This is a charity working in the field of missing persons in the UK:

Appeal two years after human remains discovery

A mans body was found by a spectator at Wales Rally GB on 14th November 2015, close to one of the Clocaenog sections of the rally near Pentre-llyn- Cymmer.

Forensic tests revealed the man was murdered but he has never been identified.

North Wales Police have had a facial reconstruction completed to produce an image of what the man could have looked like.
    Detective Superintendent Iestyn Davies said:

Despite not knowing his identity we have been able to establish that he was born prior to 1950, he was well built and around 5’9 ½” tall.
He had a number of crowns to his front teeth and it is likely that he suffered with lower back pain & stiffness.
We believe that he was killed between 2004 and 2010 but we are keeping an open mind about these dates.

I would guess that his being born before 1950 has been determined by a lack of radioactive isotopes in his bones.

If the police estimate of his date of death is correct, then he cannot have been a victim of Peter Moore, but they do seem to be keeping an open mind about that date. It's also possible that he was dumped there by his killer because Peter Moore had previously dumped a victim in the forest and therefore he hoped this man would be assumed to be another victim of Moore.

I wonder how close this body was to that of Edward Carthy, the victim Moore is known to have dumped in the forest.
