In the space of about a month, three young Oklahoma City-area women have died violently, but at whose hands? With typical lack of information from area LE agencies, the City finds itself musing about a possible serial killer in their midst, troubled by three deaths:

Carina Saunders....19
Kelsey Bransby.....19
Alina Fitzpatrick....17

There's currently a WS thread for Ms. Saunders:

The Mystery of who killed Carina Saunders remains

Despite difficulties, Bethany police work to solve woman's killing (newsok.com)

Ms. Bransby:

Ms. Fitzpatrick:

Alina Fitzpatrick case: Who killed Alina? (hinkymeter.com)

News is so scarce on the case immediately above that no MSM is available on the cause of death or if the case has been ruled murder; Carina's death received ample coverage at first, Kelsey's, not nearly as much. There are articles out there, however, about all three.

Could a serial killer be operating in Oklahoma City? Until police release more details about their investigations of the cases above, that's something we can only pray is not the circumstance - because we have so little evidence either way.

So - no arrests so far in any of these (though LE did indicate it was "getting somewhere" on the Carina Saunders matter).

Oklahoma City mother hopes reward will lead to her daughter's killer (Daily Oklahoman)
Kelsey Bransby, 19, was found shot to death Oct. 27. Her family
is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to her killer or killers.

Quite sad to see the lack of progress, but we in Oklahoma are well-used to this, the (eventual) arrest made in the case of the Weleetka girls notwithstanding. The lack of information released in the Bransby and Fitzpatrick cases is particularly troubling.

Christmas prayers for the surviving family and friends.

Cole Hopper was formally sentenced to nine years with 85 percent serving time for manslaughter after delivering an emotionally charged testimony and apology to the victim’s family in Cleveland County District court...

Hopper, 21, was convicted of first-degree manslaughter for shooting 19-year-old Kelsey Bransby and leaving her to die in October 2011.

Bransby was found alone with a gunshot wound in her head in an apartment in south Oklahoma City that night. She died the next day in the hospital.

Cooley was given nine years of probation in November 2013 for accessory after the fact:
