OH - Christopher Beck, 1, beaten to death, Cincinnati, 21 Sept 2005
Charles Finley, 19, is accused of beating his girlfriend's one-year-old son to death Wednesday.
Finley got upset Friday morning in a Hamilton County courtroom, when a judge set his bond at $500,000.
Once deputies got him under control, the judge increased the bond to $1.5 million.
There was an outburst Friday morning during Charles Finley's arraignment.
Finley tried to break free from deputies while inside a Hamilton County courtroom.

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

PRESS RELEASE, 9/29/2005
A Hamilton County grand jury indicted 19-year-old Charles Finley of Cincinnati for the murder of one-year-old Christopher Beck. Finley now faces the death penalty.
Finley has been indicted for aggravated murder, murder, and felonious assault for the attack that occurred on September 21, 2005. Finley was babysitting his girlfriend's one year old son at her home in Silverton. After being alone with the child, he took the baby to his mother's home on Highland Avenue. Finley's mother noticed that something was wrong with the baby and called 911.
