Heather Maude was reported as missing since the first of July 2009. She has not been in contact with her mother, which is uncharacteristic.

Anyone that has seen or may know the whereabouts of Maude is asked to contact Douglas County Sheriff's Office.

She does have a Charley Project page as Heather Lynn Maude at http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/m/maude_heather.html.

The Charley Project page makes reference to her drug background which is supported by her arrest record with 10 arrests in 2007/8 as detailed at https://www.justmugshots.com/oregon/douglas-county/20735874. This site also includes the pictures of her at her arrests which show that she may have any hair colour from blonde to dark brown. What is especially worrying is that there do not seem to be any arrest records online for later than 2008, which seems a bad sign given her history. The lack of details does suggest that LE have not been very active on this case.

She is my long time FB friend's older sister.I can't ask my friend about her sister cuz I afraid I will hurt her more.I just hope somehow she is surviving somewhere.

Distinguishing Characteristics:Caucasian female. Blonde hair, green eyes. Maude may use the first name Shawn, and some agencies refer to her by that name. Her right eyebrow is pierced and she has the following tattoos: an unfinished tattoo of the name "Brian" and a butterfly on her left calf, a band of teardrops around her upper left arm, and the number 1 inside a circle on her right hand.

Details of Disappearance

Maude was last seen in Roseburg, Oregon on July 1, 2009. She wasn't reported missing until August 10. Maude had lived in the vicinity of Roseburg all her life and was well-known in the area. She was staying in the North Bank Road and Old Melrose Road areas at the time of her disappearance.

It's uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning; she usually kept in touch with her loved ones every week. Maude associated with drug users, and foul play is suspected in her disappearance. Few details are available in her case.

I am local to the area and I just wanted to point out that North Bank rd and Melrose rd are miles apart in two different communities. It’s a solid 25 minute drive between the two areas.
