NY - Three murdered in Bronx home invasion, 20 Sept 2005

The 2-year-old who survived a gruesome triple murder in the Bronx not only watched his mother get killed, he understands what happened, his father said yesterday.
"He cries," said Cándido De La Rosa. "He knows his mother is dead."

The boy's mother, Dilcia Tejada, 17, was bound and killed Tuesday night along with her ex-boyfriend and another man after robbers stormed her Fordham apartment building looking for money and drugs.

Tejada's son, Sehing, was found by cops in the bathroom, next to the body of his mother. His feet were covered in blood.

Just when I think that I have seen the most depraved things a human can do to another human, somebody posts a new story...........

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?

A Bronx judge received a round of applause Thursday after sentencing a merciless triple murderer to life in prison.

Judge John Carter called Noel Bruno's crime, slaughtering three people in a Bronx apartment during a wild search for drugs, "the most horrific, despicable act" he had ever tried or heard in his 25-year career.
Jose Curet was also convicted at trial and sentenced to 43 years to life:
