    OK - Coy Looper, 69, Tulsa, 28 December 2015

    http://www.news9.com/story/30844592/...-with-dementia

This man and his wife went to the Tulsa airport to pick up his wife's elderly aunt. He has dementia and is unable to drive or know his way home. While she was inside the airport, the police informed him the car needed to be moved, but after they found his wife and she returned to move the car, both him and the car were gone.

The car is a white 1997 Intrepid, OK plate 669GEI:

He apparently also has an injury to his left foot and isn't able to walk far.

How awful! His wife must be beside herself. I wonder if he would just drive until the gasoline ran out. I also wonder if he has any cash on him or ID. Horrible situation. Would he recognize a police officer's uniform and stop for help, perhaps during a more lucid moment?

I read another link and saw he has no cash or ID on him. He did know to tell an officer he could not drive. But then he did, anyway. Dementia is terrible.

    This is a thought...
I wonder if he asked a stranger to help move the car?
I hope they checked the video to see if he drove the car himself.

That was my thought - I can't imagine that area isn't under surveillance.

Police aren't revealing who was found in Mingo Creek submerged in a car. It is a white sedan.
The article states more when it comes available.

In this link, there's a photo of the white car in the water.

    Very short article.
This article mentions that it appears to be a Dodge Intrepid.
