    OR - Rosemary Gullett, 15, Portland, 22 June 2015

She came across my FB feed, as a plea from her mother. I don't think I can post that, but there's some discrepancies with the missing person page. This is the missing person page http://www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/1254932/1 Here's a new article. http://www.oregonlive.com/portland/i...inding_14.html I couldn't find another thread on here. Please delete and point me to it, if there is one.

Police say family and friends have spotted her several times since, but she "runs away when they approach her to bring her home."

She is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has red hair and noticeable freckles.

The mother's plea just came across my FB feed so of course, as I always do, I came to see if this young lady has a thread.

Very sad. So young, Such a big world out there and so many dangers.

Just came across this on fb also. I really hope she returns home and gets the help she needs. At 14 she has no idea how rough the world can be.

Just came across my feed today as well, shared by numerous PNW friends - one a friend of the grandfather who originally posted it. His original post has been shared over 200,000 times in less than 48 hours. That's pretty awesome.

I'm not sure how much sleuthing is allowed in these situations? People sharing the FB post are making comments about finding pictures of her online and saying it doesn't look like she wants to be found...?! Hmm...

Just came across my FB too. I love how the first thing we all do is come here to see if she has a thread.

Im wondering the same thing as KatieLiz, how much sleuthing is allowed in these situations?

They're also saying she's 'presumed' (don't know by whom) to have fallen into the hands of child traffickers. Since that's always a concern I'd like to get some more attention for her case. So many people (not on WS) are quick to shrug off a runaway teen...

I'd think it's fair game because police have asked for public help? http://portlandtribune.com/pt/9-news...-year-old-girl

The post from her family on Facebook says she makes regular contact on social media with friends... can't police obtain an IP?

I am Canadian so I am not familiar with all of the American laws. At what age can a teen legally say they aren't going home? 16 or 18? Either way I assume at 15 the police can pick her up and make her go home. She must be hiding well.

In Oregon, you have to be 16 to legally be considered for emancipation http://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/419B.558

She just turned 15 on January 1st. It was in one of the articles (and on her 'missing' poster). 1/1/2001

The photos of Rosemary with the different hair colors/ styles are taken inside a house or apt. It's good she isn't on the streets but awful that she has an adult helping her stay gone. I can't imagine knowing she has not only run away , but she is still active on FB and has been seen in the area.
Moms plea got to me. Rosemary needs to be back home.
