Pregnant Woman Reported Missing in the Bronx


"Police are searching for a missing 39-year-old pregnant woman last seen at her Bronx home over the weekend.

Andrea Caruth was reported missing after last being seen at her home on Corsa Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

It wasn't immediately clear how far along Caruth is in her pregnancy, nor was it clear who reported her missing."

Flash back because of the name. Rae Caruth had is pregnant girlfriend murdered.
 
Her family reported her.missing.
Does she live with her family.or.her bf?
 
Just watching this now on NBC4. The family said that the boyfriend is being held at the police station for questioning now. LE will not confirm.

I hope she's found healthy and warm soon.

Body removed from Bronx home of missing pregnant woman

BAYCHESTER, Bronx – Authorities have pulled a body from the Bronx residence where a missing mom-to-be was last seen.

Police say they found an unidentified woman's corpse in basement of 3242 Corsa Ave– the home of 39-year-old Andrea Caruth – about 3 a.m. Wednesday.


EMS pronounced her dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause of death.

Caruth, who was five months pregnant, was last seen on Sunday morning. Her disappearance sparked a police search in a wooded area and park nearby late Tuesday into Wednesday.

Her boyfriend reported her missing when he hadn’t heard from her and noticed she’d left her possessions behind, police sources said. Caruth had plans to have brunch with a friend Sunday but never showed, according to sources.

There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Same story over and over only the name of the poor woman changes.

Why is it so easy to kill the person u say u love?

In an article above, it states she was last scene as she was leaving her home to go to brunch. She never got there. It was her boyfriend who reported her missing. Since it has also been stated that Andera's father lived in the home, where was he during these crucial moments? Was he home and does he back the boyfriend's story?

Horrible news to wake up to!!

Yeah I don't quite understand this either. Maybe the father is away? Or has an entirely different area of the home that he stays in.

Police had been searching around her home with cadaver dogs after suspecting foul play.

Caruth, 39, was last seen about 10:30 a.m. Sunday at her home. Her boyfriend, Lincoln Grant, said he was the last person to see her that day, according to the dead woman's sister, Angel Caruth. "Her boyfriend just said that she got up Sunday morning and was going outside," she said.
 
Could it have been she fell down the steps to the basement?

Still hoping this was not a murder.

She supposedly left home for brunch. Why then going to the basement? What does a person, going to eat out, need from the freakin' basement? And how did she end up in basement, if, as claimed by the bf, she left home? And if it was accident, how comes nobody at home heard anything? One does not fall down the stairs noiselessly. And, well, if she really was entering the basement, she would leave the door open behind her, right? So what, nobody noticed the open door? Nobody got interested in why they were open and the light was up?

Sorry to say, but I am afraid it was murder.

As per Jersey girl's link, she was in the crawlspace. It just doesn't sound possible unless he wasn't home. PLUS wouldn't the dude look ALL over the house for her? I know I would. But what do I know😒
