Thanks for posting this! I was wondering the same thing. I agree that the timeline fits, and Cynthia also fits the suspected height and age (she's between 5'4 and 5'5 and was 36 when she was last seen).

They can't be a match because both their DNA has been submitted.

That unfortunately doesn't mean anything. There's no evidence that the DNA has been tested against each other, otherwise it would be in the rule-outs.
