LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Day one of testimony is in the books in the murder trial of a man accused of kidnapping and killing a central Arkansas realtor.

During her opening statement, Prosecutor Barbara Mariani told jurors Beverly Carter was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was kidnapped by Arron Lewis and his wife. Lewis and his wife were posing as home buyers, Mariani said.

I don't remember how many they were able to retrieve (pretty sure more than one, but I was zoning out right about then) but there were approx. 100 that were gone for good. He explained that it's sort of like a computer hard drive. After soemthing is deleted, it can usually be retrieved until other info is written over that area. Once that happens, it can no longer be reteived.

Not that it matters but I was thinking it was said prior that BC only had $10 in her checking account at time, today was testified $124.

CCjr had been doing mom books since she had surgery (CCjr said July 2014, Brenda R said April 2014) until now and BC had did prior.

I'm guessing they are taking AL back to Department of Corrections at night. At least, that's what the Vine recordings say. Returned to DOC on xx date. They don't say which facility though.
