Rick Lynn Turner
Millville man missing under suspicious circumstances
Shasta County, California -
"The Shasta County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a missing man they say disappeared under suspicious circumstances.
On Christmas Eve, at about 12:00 p.m., Rick Lynn Turner, 51, drove away from his home in Millville in his black 2006 Dodge Charger for unknown reasons.
Turner is described as 5-feet-11-inches tall, 220 pounds, hazel eyes, grey hair with a goatee. He has a rainbow trout tattoo on his calf and a tiger on his right shoulder.
On Dec. 28, Turners family reported him as missing to the Shasta County Sheriffs Office because he didn't attend any family functions over the Christmas weekend.
On Jan. 3, Turners Dodge Charger was stopped by the Red Bluff Police Department on an enforcement stop in Red Bluff. The Charger had two subjects inside, neither of which were Turner, deputies said. The driver reported he purchased the vehicle from Turner and did not know of his whereabouts. The occupants were arrested for unrelated charges and the Charger was towed and stored, deputies explained.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and followed up regarding the new circumstances. Detectives got the Charger and searched it for evidence which revealed suspicious blood stains inside the passenger compartment.
Detectives then did follow up interviews with the two occupants arrested on Jan. 3 and learned that the Charger was originally found in Redding on the side of the road near the north end of Shasta View near College View Drive. The two subjects are not suspected of any wrongdoing in connection to Turners disappearance at this time."
