    From March:

    http://fox43.com/2016/03/04/columbia...investigation/

Allison Oberdorff, 25, is charged with hindering apprehension and providing false information to law enforcement...

Police said Allison mislead officers as to how Sheetz made entry into the house on the night of the crime and deleted numerous text messages that were exchanged between the pair...

Investigators also determined that Allison let Sheetz into the house, after the two spent the day together, and then helped him exit the home after the stabbing, court documents state.

Columbia man pleads guilty in fatal stabbing of girlfriend's husband, gets 7.5-15 years in prison

    http://lancasteronline.com/news/loca...777c0bb41.html

A Columbia man will serve at least seven-and-one-half years in prison for fatally stabbing his girlfriend’s husband earlier this year.

Ronald Lee Sheetz, 42, pleaded guilty Friday to voluntary manslaughter in the Jan. 15 death of Michael Oberdorff Sr., 44.

The sentence, with a maximum of 15 years, was part of a negotiated plea agreement approved by Oberdorff's family.

Sheetz, wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and blazer and a long, braided ponytail, whispered “sorry” when Judge Donald Totaro asked if he had anything to say after making sure Sheetz understood his plea.
Allison Oberdorff, 36, is accused of deleting text messages and misleading police as to how Sheetz entered the home. She’s charged with hindering apprehension and providing false information to law enforcement. A January trial is scheduled.

She will be sentenced on the third-degree felony charge at a later date, following a pre-sentencing investigation. A third-degree felony carries a maximum sentence of seven years in prison and a $15,000 fine.

Columbia woman sentenced to 7 years in prison for lying about husband’s death

On Thursday in a Lancaster County court, Judge Margaret Miller sentenced Oberdorff to 3 ½ to 7 years in prison, which is the maximum penalty allowed by the law on a third-degree felony hindering apprehension charge, which Oberdoff pleaded guilty to in March, according to court records.
    http://lancasteronline.com/news/loca...6d28d0220.html

“I find that the circumstances that this crime presents are selfish and cold-blooded in the extreme,” Miller said of Allison Oberdorff.

The sentencing guidelines for the crime called for an approximate three-to-14 month sentence. However, Miller said, those guidelines don't properly capture Oberdorff's behavior.

“Sorry, Ms. Oberdorff,” she said. “This to me, short of murder itself, is almost as bad as it gets.”

....Oberdorff's daughter, Emily, read a prepared statement that called her a “murderer” and an “addict” that manipulates people, drove a wedge into the family and only cares about getting high.
