Family, friends and the Woodstock North High School community are rallying around the family of Woodstock teenager who was tragically killed in Phoenix, Ariz. this past weekend. Faith Kies, a 16-year-old sophomore at Woodstock North, died at 6:41 p.m. Jan. 16, as the result of a gunshot wound she sustained during a double-shooting the previous night at a Phoenix home, according to Phoenix Police Sgt. Vincent Lewis and the Maricopa Medical Examiner's Office...

Stormy Kies, Faith's father, said his family is devastated by their loss. Unbeknownst to her parents, Faith left Woodstock sometime overnight between Jan. 13-14, leaving behind a note. It is believed O'Neill picked up Faith in his car and drove her to Arizona, Lewis said. For the next two days, the Kieses searched for their daughter with help from the police and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Phoenix police officers located O'Neill's car at about 9 p.m. Jan. 15 at his parents' house in Phoenix, Lewis said.
