"When from a long distant past nothing persists, after the people are dead, after things are broken and scattered, still alone, more persistent, more faithful, the smell and taste of things remain poised a long, long time like souls, ready to remind us, waiting, hoping for their moment amid the ruins of all the rest, and bear unfaltering in the tiny and almost impalpable drop of their essence the vast structure of recollection."

Here's another article but it's basically the same information.

    http://www.wbir.com/mb/news/local/kn...woman/21244002

However, I did some poking around and found the social media page for above station. I realize it's considered rumor. But there's some very interesting and scary comments IMO.
To "Hopi" and others in the area, you might want to have a look. I hope I'm keeping within our TOS, as I don't usually post about SM. If not, mods please feel free to let me know.

Really hoping this beautiful lady is found safe very soon!

Yes, we can only hope that it is.
I wonder if that info has ever been put out there to the public by LE in the area? From what I read earlier, it sure doesn't seem like it has.

Not much coverage out there for any of the missing women. What the heck?

There has not been much in the news. My husband and I found out about another young lady missing from a missing persons flyer a week ago. This is the 3rd young woman who is missing.

This is scary. I wonder how close the area of the four missing ladies shown on the WBIR FB page are to each other. Also, if WS has threads for each of them?

    The four missing women are:

    Inesha Nicole Haygood
    Brooke Elizabeth Phillips
    Lora Hale Costner
    Melanie Coley

I'm going to check now and see if we have threads for all of them and if there's any kind of detectable pattern in their disappearances.

I found two others of the four missing here on WS.

The only thing I could find for Brooke Phillips is a help find FB page for her.

From what I read, it seems all of these cases have different circumstances. It is still very alarming that all of these are missing in a pretty small area.

Lots of snow and ice in the area and many places between Turkey Creek (Farragut)and Loudon county where she could've run off the road.

Turkey Creek is a huge shopping complex that is in Farragut, a small upper middle class town that the city of knoxville has encompassed as it has grown.
The main roads through the area are I-75 bordering one side of Turkey Creek, and Kingston Pike(old hwy 11) near the other. Both of these roads lead from TC to Loudon County. The border of Loundon County butts up to Farragut. Kingston pike goes from multiple lanes down to two lanes near the border to Loudon County. This is where driving could really be treacherous in icy conditions.it is winding with drop offs in some places. On 75 south, immediately below Turkey Creek, the area becomes more rural. Once you get to the Watt Road exit, 75 is rural also. Plenty of areas for a car to run off the road undetected. Watt Road runs E to W between 75 and Kingston Pike. Once you pass the Watt rd intersection on Kingston Pike, the road narrows there.
Hope this helps give you a feel for the area. If this was an accident, she could've taken either route home.
