Lemhi County Sheriff Lynn Bowerman will be our guest on the latest addition of True Crime Radio this Thursday (January 28th) to discuss why missing toddler DeOrr Kunz Jr's parents went from cooperating witnesses to suspects.

True Crime Radio is now pre-recorded. The recorded version of this interview with Sheriff Bowerman will be put up on THIS PAGE tomorrow (Thursday), January 28th around 10:30 PM Eastern.

Please post your questions for Sheriff Bowerman on this thread.

The first question I am going to ask is what happened? How did DeOrr's parents go from cooperating witnesses to suspects?

Thank you,
Tricia

I'd like any information he's willing to share about the timeline - specifically, when did everyone arrive at the campground? When did the family depart for the store and arrive back from the store?

Great scoop, Tricia!

So many questions... I guess the first (for me) is what time was DeOrr last seen?

Where was Deorr and what was he doing, the last time IR saw him? What time was that? Thank you

ETA: a third part to the question...

LE, Vilt and Klein all seem to be on the same page regarding the parents truthfulness. Have the three agencies compared notes or discussed findings with each other?

Have areas near the Snake River and Mud Lake between Idaho Falls and Leadore been searched?
Is there evidence (circumstantial or direct) that any of the four went anywhere other than the campground or the Leadore store trip documented by the time stamp receipt?
PI Klien remarked that a 4 hour timeframe was significant to the official timeline and investigation. Can you comment on that?
Has Jessica obtained legal representation?

Thanks for hosting this, Tricia. I would like to know why Investigator Vilt's letter dated 9/25/15 to DeOrr and Jessica about his reasons for dismissing himself from their case is being released only now? Why wasn't it released to the public in September? Was Vilt asked by law enforcement to keep that information private?

Did the cadaver dogs hit on any of the vehicles?

One more: prior to the camping trip, when was the last time DeOrr Kunz, Jr. was seen and by whom?

Were there 2 dogs brought by the family to campsite?

Jessica has stated on FB that the time stamp for the general store on the day of disappearance is 12:00. Is this correct?

Why was blanket not confiscated as evidence in beginning?

Also, have the parents told the sheriff that they think IR is responsible for DeOrr's disappearance?

And does he have any reason to suspect a history of physical abuse towards DeOrr, or a reason the parents might want him gone?

Was the dirty diaper taken and/or submitted to FBI for analysis?

Was the "sippy cup" taken and/or submitted to FBI for analysis?

Was the blanket taken and/or submitted to FBI for analysis?

It has been stated by SB (and in MSM) that scent dogs and cadaver dogs both tracked/hit on the reservoir.

Did any of the cadaver dog hits at the reservoir occur "before" the cremains were dumped?

Did any of the scent dog hits at the reservoir occur before cremains were dumped?

Did he ask/tell IR not to comment on specific things in the media? (Nate at EIN says LE told IR not to comment on specific things, Klein says he knows for a fact that LE did not tell IR that)

Is there a motive for Deorr's death?

Was it accidental?

Does he think that Deorr is on the mountain, or somewhere else?

Does he feel that they will recover little Deorr?

When did JM and DK's story fall apart or did SB think that the story sounded off from the beginning?

When were the cadaver dogs brought in, what day?

Will they release DK's 911 call?

When was the last time little Deorr was seen alive by someone other than the 4 adults that were on the camping trip?

He did not name IR or GGF as suspects - does he believe they have been completely truthful with him?

Did any items purchased on the store receipt have anything to do with you naming them suspects?
