UK/Ireland - Sir Terry Wogan has died, age 77

Oh this is very sad. Sir Terry really was a broadcasting legend.

As one of my friends said - "now they have a presenter for the greatest show in the sky"

This is sad. I must admit Sir Terry wasn't my cup of tea but I can appreciate the loss to British TV and radio.

So many good'uns have died so far this year...

Such very sad news. Always came across as a lovely man who enjoyed his job and brought laughter and entertainment to many. On more than one occasion I have had to pull off the motorway if I was listening to his radio show, couldn't see to drive thru tears of laughter.
As for his Eurovision commentary, it was the only reason I watched the programme, he said what we were all thinking.
RIP Terry.... thanks for the brilliant memories.
