Kading claims in a new documentary that Diddy hired Crips gang member Duane Keith 'Keffe D' Davis to kill Shakur and his manager Marion Hugh 'Suge' Knight for $1million.

If this is true why is Suge still alive?

I don't know how much is typically paid to a hit man but 13k seems really low.

Tupac was killed in Las Vegas, why is a Los Angeles detective talking like that about it? If Sean Combs was the one who arranged it for Tupac to be killed, the revenge wouldn't be served on Biggie Smalls, it would have been served on P. Diddy for sure. Also, if it was really Diddy, Jada would know. And judging by the amount of pictures of Diddy and Will Smith posing all buddy-buddy, I don't believe it was him. Jada would never put up with that crap, she was a ride or die for Tupac and to this day, doesn't really talk much about their relationship. She still has way too much respect for Tupac for her be okay with his husband being besties with the man responsible for his dead. No way, José.

There is no statute of limitations in Nevada for prosecution on homicide cases. It is unknown whether the warrant was served at a home or a business.

Will there finally be Justice for Tupac?

'LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police confirmed Tuesday that they served a search warrant this week in connection with the long-unsolved killing of Tupac Shakur, propelling the case back into the spotlight nearly 30 years after his death.

Shakur, one of the most prolific figures in hip-hop, was gunned down the night of Sept. 7, 1996, in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. He was 25.

No arrests have ever been made. Yet attention on the case, which has seen its share of conspiracy theories, has endured for decades.''

''Nevada does not have a time limit for prosecuting homicide cases.''

''Shakur was shot while sitting inside a black BMW with Marion “Suge” Knight, head of Death Row Records. Police have said the two were waiting at a red light near the Las Vegas Strip when a white Cadillac pulled up next to them and gunfire erupted. Shot multiple times, Shakur was rushed to a hospital, where he died six days later.''

''Shakur openly accused B.I.G. and Sean “Diddy” Combs of having prior knowledge of the shooting, which both vehemently denied. It sparked enough of a feud that created a serious divide within the hip-hop community and fans.''

Las Vegas police served a search warrant in connection to the killing of Shakur, who was gunned down Sept. 7, 1996.

The warrant was executed Monday in the nearby city of Henderson. It’s unclear what they were looking for or where they searched.

Citing the ongoing investigation, a police spokesperson said he couldn’t provide further details on the latest development in the case, including whether a suspect has been identified.

Duane Keith Davis, 60, also known as “Keefy D” or “Keffe D,” was the target of the warrant out of Clark County in which Las Vegas police also searched desktops and other electronic storage devices such as thumb drives, CDs, external hard drives and audio recordings, the warrant said.

Davis, the warrant said, was affiliated with the South Side Compton Crips street gang, and he has been vocal about his involvement over the years.

Davis was one of four people who police say was in the suspect vehicle when Shakur was killed in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. The alleged shooter, Orlando Anderson, Davis’ nephew, later died in a gang-related killing in Los Angeles. Davis, who was investigated by both the LAPD and Las Vegas Metro PD, initially denied involvement in the Tupac killing but later gave police details about the case under a limited non-prosecution agreement. More recently, he has openly discussed his presence at the shooting scene in interviews, articles and other media.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested early Friday morning, although the exact charge or charges were not immediately clear, according to two officials with first-hand knowledge of the arrest.

In 2018, after a cancer diagnosis, Davis admitted publicly in an interview for a BET show to being inside the Cadillac during the attack. He implicated his nephew, Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, saying he was one of two people in the back seat where the shots were fired.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was taken into custody Friday morning, law enforcement sources with knowledge of the arrest told the Associated Press. Davis was charged with murder with use of a deadly weapon, the outlet reports.

In Compton Street Legends, a book co-written by Davis, now 60, and published in 2019, he describes himself as one of three “living eyewitnesses” to Shakur's murder, according to the book’s description on Amazon.
