NE - Employee at a daycare accused of sexually assaulting toddlers in his care
(I've never started a thread before, hope I did it correctly. And I hope this news story is okay to post here.)
Bond was set Friday at $2 million for 24-year-old Mark Mays.
Mays was interviewed Thursday and made incriminating statements regarding sexual contact with eight girls ranging in age from 23 to 34 months old. Mays was arrested and booked for two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and six separate counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child.

If it is true that this man has some sort of intellectual impairments...I don't think he should have been hired to work ALONE with children. I mean, I think it's great when companies can hire people with disabilities and whatnot. But people who are intellectually impaired probably shouldn't be watching children by themselves. If this is the case, I hope the daycare also faces some sort of charges.
It sounds like he's talking so when this goes to trial, it sounds like it should be quick.

Prosecutors said Friday that on January 12th, two employees of the Little Hands at Work and Play day care near 120th and Blondo walked in on Mays with a 2-year-old girl on his lap.
Mays was employed there from December 2015 to January 8, 2016.
Mark Mays, 24, is held on $2 million bond.
They say he was also employed at La Petite Academy at 10707 Birch Street in Omaha from May to August of 2015.

Police said he told them he looked at child porn on his cellphone and gave investigators permission to search. An investigation of Mays’ home yielded 13 kids’ diapers and 18 pairs of children’s underwear stashed in desk drawers, according to court documents.
